Can you believe Halloween is right around the corner? That means Thanksgiving is near and so are the bitter cold winter months.
That being said, I wanted to let you know that we are filling up our schedule for “Final Fall Clean-Ups” right now and I wanted to make sure we got you on the schedule before it was too late since the days are much shorter in the fall.
The Final Fall Clean-Up is very important for your lawn, flowers, shrubs, and planting beds. We like to look at it like the final preparation before your property takes a nice long winter nap.
A Final Fall Clean-Up consists of the following:
The lawn is mowed a little closer than normal; everything is trimmed and edged very neatly, and all of the clippings are bagged.
All hedges and shrubs are trimmed and shaped one last time for a neat winter appearance.
We prune any dead wood or crossing branches to eliminate the chance of pest issues.
All needed seasonal flowers are “dead-headed” so as to promote growth for the spring.
All leaves, branches, twigs, and debris are removed from the lawn and all planting beds.
The mulch in the planting beds is turned over for a neat appearance and to eliminate any molds that may be setting in.
Finally, a healthy application of fertilizer which is high in phosphorous is applied to promote healthy turf growth in the spring.
The “Final Fall Clean-Up” is one of the most important things you can do for your property, and especially your lawn. We will make sure everything looks great for those Christmas lights and decorations!
If you would like to be placed on the schedule, or you have any questions about the Final Fall Clean-Up, do not hesitate to call.
